To the Swarm,
Hello and Happy Holidays!
We hope your holiday season has been as enjoyable and as exciting as
ours. With the release of our new CD, "Elephant Dreams", and the
incredible CD release party we had here in Omaha, we're excited for
our upcoming holiday shows and for what's to come in '04. Our CD
release was absolutely mind-blowing with over 1500+ people through
the door and over 1000 CDs sold in one night! Undoubtedly, that
evening was one of the best times we've ever had playing live in
the now 7 year lifespan of GTO. Many thanks to all the fans and
bands for making that night the great success that it was. Also,
thank you to Budweiser True Music, 89.7 The River, and The Omaha
Reader for their support on the event.
So.... if you haven't yet received a copy of "Elephant Dreams" then you MUST GET THIS CD! (For the life of us, we just can't think of a better holiday gift for yourself and/or a friend!) So here's a few ways to get yourself the disc....

What A Year It's Been...
-------------------------------------------------------------
2003 has been the craziest year ever for GTO with every high and low
imaginable all wrapped up into a flash of 365 days. The first quarter of the year started off like any other... but then
in June occurred the Great Van/Equipment Heist of '03 and it seemed
briefly that GTO would be no more. Then, adding insult to injury, 2
days later we learned our ever-loving '89 GMC Van had been set on fire
and completely destroyed. But then, a couple days later at a point when
it seemed all chips were down, we received a phone call from the police
telling us all our equipment had been recovered. ("The God's are now
smiling on the band Grasshopper Takeover.")
Two months later GTO received a feature in Rolling Stone Magazine. A
couple weeks after that we released the first in a series of 3 EPs
titled "Hear No Evil, 1/3". A month after that, we headed out to Vegas
to open for the Goo Goo Dolls and The Donnas for a VH-1 taped concert
event. A couple weeks after that we actually saw ourselves rockin' on
VH-1. And, finally, topping it all off with the perfect ending to a
fantastic story and year, we released "Elephant Dreams," and hosted the
greatest CD release party we could have ever hoped for.
So, with that, we say thank you to the thousands of you on this mailing
list for your continued support of GTO and wish you all a safe and
happy holiday season.
All our best and spread your wings and fly!
